“I have been running the Phumjai Crepe shop in Ari for 7 years now. In the first few years, we did everything ourselves and I got to know so many people through the business. Some of my customers were students in Suanbua School. They used to come with their parents; now they’re all grown-up! Now we can afford a little team of help, but I still prepare ingredients every day from home and take care of the shop every once in a while. What I love about our business is we get to know so many people and have become truly fused into the neighborhood. Some customers have become our very good friends. They’re so friendly sometimes I even have to tell them no need to buy from us every time we say hi! 😄”
